Crochet Scarf

These 100% Alpaca scarves come to you directly from the Heart of the Andes Mountains. They are Hand Crochet in an Artisan Cooperative of Traditional Weavers in the Altiplano of Bolivia, over 12,000 ft. above sea level. Our cooperative is in its 6th year of active production, from the start we have followed strict Fair Trade Guidelines. Our scarves measure 12" x 70" and are available in the following colors: Camel, Tan, Slate, Coal, Midnite Please refer to our basic color chart listed in our photos to make your selection. Upon choosing, include your color choice in the note field. Of the several grades of Alpaca Fibers these are made of one of the finest available, creating a very elegant & finished look and feel. This item is produced by Women, in their time aside from family responsibilities. Our artisans are paid by the piece, with their wage set on a typical 8 hr. working day. The average pay is way above living wage for the country of Bolivia, and considered a Fair Wage.
