			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In Southern Peru, new hopes is coming into the lives and homes of villagers thanks to the work of Pro Peru.  A new kind of cooking stove, made from local materials is reducing the amount of firewood consumed by up to 50% and greatly improving the health of village women &#038; children.  Typically in Peru, a woman can spend up to 8 hrs. a day in the kitchen, breathing smoke &#038; wasting wood.
