Circle of the Sun imports fine quality artisan goods, specializing in textiles. We work directly with weavers and village craftspeople in cooperatives around the world to find and produce distinctive native handcrafts. Our Fair Trade relationships benefit the artists and improve the economic base in remote and tribal cultures by establishing international markets for their goods.

Natural Fibers

We import only fabrics made from natural fibers including Alpaca, cotton, wool, and silk. All dyes used for our production are plant and mineral based, so they create no water pollution. The natural colors we use have been in use for centuries and produce full range of vibrant and soft tones. Alpaca is a rare specialty fiber. It grows in 22 different colors and is hypoallergenic. It is breathable, finer than cashmere, warmer than wool and very durable. Alpaca was traditionally a sign of prestige for the Inca nobility. Now you can wear this distinctive and luxurious material.

Hand Made

All of our goods are exclusively handmade. Artisans create distinctive, unique handcrafted items with dignity from their homes or village cooperatives.
